![]() I graduated from NKU with a B.A in Elem.Ed. and received my M.A. in Elem.Ed. from the same institution. I have taught in the Diocese of Covington for 23 ½ years beginning at Corpus Christi, Newport, Immaculate Heart of Mary in Hebron, St. Bernard in Dayton and arriving at Mary Queen of Heaven School in 1991. ![]() In my parish, I have served as Sunday Preschool Coordinator, past chairperson of the Board for Total Catholic Education, and Eucharistic Minister. Recently, I was chosen as one of the Diocesan Teachers of the Year for 2004. That same year I was nominated for Disney HAND Teacher Award. My time spent at Mary, Queen of Heaven School has been wonderful. I have been grateful to work closely with some of the most excellent teachers in the diocese. It is a wonderful experience to teach in a smaller school. There is a family feeling created here by warm and inviting individuals on the faculty and staff. The older children nurture the younger children and most people can know personally the children in every classroom. The curriculum is Christ centered because the families at our school create that same atmosphere in their homes. It makes my job so much easier! We have an excellent school and I am blessed to have been invited to teach here! |
