6th

We are finally learning about our schools mascot, the knight.  We've begun our unit on Feudalism,

and will begin studying the lifestyles and customs of Europe during this time period.  In addition we'll

learn how middle age Europe has affected modern day society.

In Religion we learning about the follies made by the Israelites by worshiping false gods,

and what we can do to prevent from being distracted ourselves by idols.

7th

We are learning about the American government; its formation, its function, and our role in it.

In Religion we are learning how Christ calls us to be holy, and the ways in which we can serve that goal.

8th

We are studying WWII, the events leading up to it, the course, and the consequences.  With special

emphasis on the Holocaust.

If you see an 8th grader, ask them to recite the Seven Gifts of the Holy Spirit, and how they plan on using those gifts.

Mock Trial

The Third Annual 7th vs 8th Mock Trial took place on April 15th.  After much debate and deliberation

Dan Frakes was found: Not Guilty
