   6TH GRADE SCIENCE

Sixth grade science begins with a survey of Earth and Space Science.  We like to highlight the more exciting topics, such as black holes, tornadoes, earthquakes, and volcanoes.  Much of January is spent preparing for the Science Fair by setting up experiments and learning to graph results.  In the Spring, a mini-unit on Chemistry gives us a head start for Biology and Physical Science in 7th and 8th grade.
