The goal of our eighth grade math class is to prepare our students for high school and to convince them that they will need math in their every day lives as adults.  We write checks, spend more than we have, design rooms, work out tips and discounts in our heads, determine odds, and measure the slopes of steps.  Students teach each other much of the time.  Mary, Queen of Heaven also offers Algebra to 8th grade students.  Visit Mrs. Beringer's site for more information about Algebra.
