MQH TECHNOLOGY PROGRAM

The Technology Department at Mary, Queen of Heaven School continues to be among the best in Northern Kentucky. Currently the school is equipped with:

 

•             A Computer Lab with 29 PC's, Smart Board, Printers (color & black and white). Scanner, Personal Headsets, Microsoft Office Suite and a full
              complement of other educational software.

•             New HP Server installed in summer 2010

•             All PCs and laptops upgraded to Microsoft Office 2010

•             Wireless Network throughout the building

•             New state-of-the-art Network upgrade in summer 2010

•             Exciting new technology tool, “Smart Table”

•             PC's in all classrooms and Library

•             Wall-mounted Smart Boards in every classroom

•             Edline, web-based information sharing with parents and students

•             iBOSS web-filtering (to protect students from access to inappropriate web-content)

•             GradeQuick grading software and laptops for all teachers

•             Accelerated Reader and Star Reader programs

•             “Criterion” on-line writing response program

•             c-Notify parent notification system for school closures, delays and early dismissal

•             “Lunch Box” automated cafeteria management system
