ARE YOU AN ACTIVE PARISHIONER?

One of the criteria for being an active parishioner is that you must respond every year to the Offertory Renewal.  Even if you can’t make an offertory commitment, you need to let us know that you cannot commit at this time.  A number of our school families have not responded.  If you aren’t sure if you responded, please contact Lori Spencer at lspencer@mqhparish.com or call 859-525-6909.  If you have not responded to the renewal request, you will not be considered an active parishioner which will make you ineligible for financial aid and the in-parish, discounted tuition rate.

2012 FINANCIAL AID

The 2012 financial aid form is now available.  The forms are due by April 15th.  You must be a registered and active parishioner to qualify for financial aid.  Aid is given out on a first-come first-serve basis, so apply early.  Applications received after the due date will not be considered unless there are extenuating circumstances.

To apply for financial aid you have three options.

1.     You may apply online at www.psas.org.   Our login code is 2045. There is a fee for applying for financial aid that gets paid to PSAS.  If you apply online you will need to pay by credit card.  The 2012 fee is $24.00.  A copy of your tax return must be sent to PSAS via the U.S. Postal Service after you complete the application process.

2.     Your second option is to download the PDF form located on the school website at http://www.mqhschool.com/Forms/2012%20PSAS.pdf .  You may complete the form on your computer or print it and complete it by hand, then mail it in with your tax return and check made out to PSAS for $24.00.

3.     You may also pick up a paper copy of the form in the Parish Office during normal business hours.

Her is a link to our Partnership Pledge brochure  http://www.mqhschool.com/Forms/2012Partnership%20Pledge.pdf which explains the financial aid process in more detail.   If you have any questions about applying for financial aid, please contact Lori Spencer in the Parish Office at 859-525-6909.  Once you have applied and PSAS has processed your request, we will set up your meeting with Fr. Kevin to discuss your request.
