"I am proud of my education at Mary, Queen of Heaven School. It has allowed me to excel in high school and will soon allow me to shine in college. The unique, small classes here allow personalized attention from teachers, a factor which has propelled me to success in life. The faith-based curriculum, the wonderful staff, and the one-on-one teaching style evident in every grade combine to make MQH the best Catholic grade school around. I will take the knowledge, friends, and life experiences I've garnered from MQH with me for the rest of my life."

Times are tough for many Catholic families sending their children to Catholic Schools. At Mary, Queen of Heaven we are committed to helping those families by providing an affordable, authentic Catholic education to EVERY child in the parish regardless of financial status.
There are two options for paying tuition at Mary, Queen of Heaven School:
-
Pay the tuition in full by the first day of school. A discount of 2.5% is given when both the registration form and fee are submitted by May 1, 2009 and the tuition is paid in full by July 1, 2009.
-
Make ten monthly payments by electronic fund transfer through First Security Trust Bank. The payments begin in August and end in May. If this option is chosen, you will have the choice of making your payments on the 5th, 15th or 25th of the month.

Mary, Queen of Heaven has an after-school program which allows parents to have peace of mind that their child is still in a caring, nuturing, and educational environment until he or she is taken home. This program is run until 6:00 P.M.

The National Merit Scholarship Program is an academic scholarship competition administered by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation. A number of our students went on to win these scholarships. Our scholars include: Sean Pillai and Tyler Sander (2004); Jordan Martin (2005); Tara Pillai (2006); and Philip Timmerman (2008) and Maya Pillai (2009).
We also have quite a few students selected to the Governor's Scholar Program. Twenty-two Mary, Queen of Heaven students competed in the Northern Regional Science Fair at NKU. We came away the Grand Champions! The competition included 344 experiments from 30 counties. MQH won eleven first place, three second place, and three third place awards along with eleven special awards. Ten of these projects continued on to the state fair at EKU..
Our expert math students have been awarded 2nd and 3rd place at the annual Diocesan Competition at Thomas More College.
All of our students are encouraged to participate in the many competitions that are placed in front of them. These competitions prepare our students for the many challenges they will face in High School and beyond.

Mary, Queen of Heaven School prides itself in its Catholic Identity. Religion class is taught daily, and students attend mass twice each week. The Masses are enhanced with the leadership of student cantors, and classes take turns preparing prayers of the faithful and reading the scripture passages.
Service is learned and lived as students participate in service projects which benefit local and distant social agencies. Eighth grade students make a field trip to a nearby poverty area to aid their understanding of the needs of the poor. School wide projects include collections of warn clothing items in December and a “Sock Hop” dance and sock collection in the spring.
MQH is fortunate to have three clergy, two priests and a deacon, who visit each grade quarterly and teach the students about our faith. The Sacrament of Reconciliation is celebrated monthly for all students. Sacramental preparation is done in coordination with the parish religious education program.
Prayer is a big part of our day here at MQH. Student lead morning prayer begins our day. Classroom prayer may take many forms throughout the day. Classes visit church and spend time during Eucharistic Adoration. Junior high and primary class buddies get together and pray the rosary by the Mary shrine in October and May. Each day ends with prayer led by the principal.
