| MQH offers an after school dance program for boys and girls in preschool through eighth grade in Creative Movement, Ballet, Tap and Jazz technique and performance. Registration is limited to students, siblings of students and parishioners of Mary, Queen of Heaven.
Classes are 1/2 hour to 1 hour based on age. Students are placed according to their age and/or dance ability. We offer a winter and spring performance at the school with simple costuming. |

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS |
||
Creative Movement: This class is offered for ages 3-5; it is designed to develop basic motor and rhythm skills. Ballet: Ballet is offered for grades K-8. Ballet is the basic technique for all dance. This class is designed to develop ballet technique and performance skills at a beginning to intermediate level. Jazz: Jazz is offered for grades 5-8 This class offers a variety of dance movement ranging form Musical Theater to Hip-Hop. Boys Class: This class is designed to develop basic dance technique, flexibility and performance skill for the male dancer.

CLASS ATTIRE |

Girls: Leotard, tights, Capri fitness pants or shorts, and ballet shoes. Boys: Shorts or sweat pants, t-shirt, tap shoes. |
